Organic Lawn Compost, 40L

Only dense, healthy lawns are strong enough to resist weeds and moss. Our Plantura Organic Lawn Compost has been specifically designed to create strong, thick and lush green lawns. It contains more nutrients than conventional garden compost and helps to improve the lawn's ability to retain water, thus supporting the grass' growth when sowing and reseeding and helping to create ideal growing conditions for young lawn grass.

For us at Plantura, efficacy and sustainability go hand in hand. Peat helps prevent young lawn seedlings from drying out, thus increasing the chances of success when sowing and reseeding lawns. This is why our Organic Lawn Compost is not entirely peat-free. We have, however, reduced the amount of peat to such an extent that our soil still saves significantly more CO₂ in the production process than conventional soils.

Our Plantura Organic Lawn Compost can be used to create the foundation for a completely new lawn. For this, the layer of soil should then be about 1 to 2 centimetres thick. Our soil is also excellent for repairing existing lawns. To do this, spread the soil very thinly over the entire area before reseeding and rake it into the lawn. This helps the lawn seeds to germinate well.
